These terms apply to your use of Hourtle (“the app”). By using the app you agree to them.

Using the app

Hourtle is a planning and time-tracking tool. You may use it for your own personal, non-commercial purposes. You are responsible for the information you enter and for keeping your device and Apple Account secure.

Your account

You can use the app without an account. Signing in with Sign in with Apple is optional: it saves your plans and progress to our server, so they come back on another device or after you reinstall the app.

If you do not sign in, your plans and progress are kept only on your device. They are lost if you delete the app or lose the device, and we cannot bring them back.

If you have an account, you can delete it at any time in Settings.

Subscription and free trial

Hourtle needs a subscription to use. There are two plans, monthly and yearly, and the price of each is shown in the app before you subscribe.

• Free trial. A new subscriber starts with a free trial. Its length is shown in the app before you start it. If you do not cancel at least 24 hours before the trial ends, your plan starts and you are charged its price. The free trial is offered once per Apple Account.
• Billing. Payment is taken from your Apple Account by Apple. We never see your payment details.
• Renewal. Your subscription renews automatically for the same period, at the same price, unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
• Cancelling. You can cancel at any time in Settings in the app, or in your Apple Account’s subscriptions. You keep access until the end of the period you have paid for.
• Refunds. Purchases are handled by Apple, and refunds are given according to Apple’s policies. You can ask Apple for one at reportaproblem.apple.com.
• Price changes. If a plan’s price changes, you will be told in advance and can cancel before the new price applies.

Privacy

How we handle your information, including the counts we keep of how the app is used, is set out in the Privacy Policy, which you can read in the app under Settings.

Acceptable use

Do not misuse the app: do not try to access other people’s data, interfere with the service, or use it in a way that breaks the law.

No guarantees

The app is provided as it is. We work to keep it accurate and available, but we do not promise that it will be uninterrupted or free of errors, or that your data will never be lost. The app offers general planning help and is not professional advice of any kind.

Limits on liability

To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from your use of the app.

Changes

We may change the app or these terms. If we make a significant change to the terms, the date at the top will be updated. Continuing to use the app means you accept the updated terms.

Ending use

You can stop using the app at any time, and delete your account if you have one. We may suspend access for anyone who misuses the app.
