Privacy Policy

Last updated: October 13, 2026

Hourtle is provided by RepraxSoftware.

Hourtle (“the app”, “we”) helps you plan your day and track the time you spend on what matters to you. This policy explains what the app collects, why, and the choices you have.

What we collect

You can use the app without an account. Your plans, daily records and to-dos are then kept only on your device and are not sent to us. They are sent to our server only if you sign in.

What we do not collect

How we use it

We use your account, plans, daily records and to-dos only to run the app: to show your day, keep your history, and bring your data back when you sign in on another device or reinstall the app. We use the information about how the app is used only to understand which parts of it people use and to improve it. We do not sell your information or share it for advertising.

Where it is stored

Your information is stored on your device. If you sign in, it is also stored on our server, linked to your account. The server is hosted by Railway (railway.com), which stores the data on our behalf. Data is sent between the app and the server over an encrypted connection.

App blocking and Screen Time

App blocking is optional. If you turn it on, the app asks for access to Screen Time, a feature of your device, and uses it to block the apps, app categories and websites you choose while a timer is running.

You can turn blocking off in the app at any time, or remove the app’s Screen Time access in your device’s Settings.

Analytics

The app uses PostHog (posthog.com) to count how it is used: which screens are opened and which buttons are tapped. PostHog stores this on our behalf on servers in the United States.

Keeping and deleting your data

If you use the app without an account, your plans, daily records and to-dos stay on your device and are removed when you delete the app.

If you sign in, we keep your information for as long as you have an account. You can delete your account at any time in the app under Settings, then Delete account. This permanently deletes your account and everything saved to it from our server, and clears the app’s data on your device. Signing out removes the app’s data from your device but keeps your account and everything saved to it.

Messages you send us are kept in our support inbox for as long as we need them to reply and to keep a record of the problem.

The information about how the app is used is not linked to your account, so we cannot pick yours out to delete it.

Children

The app is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy. The date at the top shows when it last changed, and the current version is always available in the app.
